The History of Guardian Angel Hospice
In 2002, a group of hospice professionals calling themselves “The Founding Angels” came together to start a new organization based on the belief that they could offer hospice care on a higher plane than any other resource in Central Indiana. Shortly after, Guardian Angel Hospice introduced its non-profit counterpart, Guardian Angel Foundation, to support patients and families beyond traditional hospice care.
Guardian Angel Foundation is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families facing a life-limiting illness and supporting families on their hospice and bereavement journeys. The Foundation educates North Central Indiana communities regarding end-of-life issues, grief, and bereavement and responds with compassion to their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
